The society aims to advance and advocate education and research in vascular technology so as to maintain the highest professional standards.

In furtherance of the above objective, the society may collaborate with the Society for Vascular Ultrasound in the United States and other related ultrasound societies to promote uniformity and standardisation of vascular technology guidelines and promote regional networking through regular meetings and conferences.
